Candy Wharf

Candy Wharf

Originally occupied by a methylated spirits factory this site between Mile End Park and the Regent’s Canal presented the ideal opportunity for maximising efficiency. The dual aspect allowed for double-banked flats off a single corridor on a scheme that we developed from 38 to 50 and on to 80 units over three applications. The colour scheme of Trespa panelling is more muted than the original proposals which looked like a candy box, hence the name.
