A scheme to redesign and open up the ground floor elevations of a combined office, gallery and showroom for a well established photography agency in Central London.
The brief was to increase the visual impact of the ground floor elevations in order to attract the passing public whilst remaining sympathetic and complementary to the existing language and proportions of the building.
Small windows at front and back have been replaced with full width projecting glazed bays to give clear views both in and out.
A new, dedicated entrance for the sole use of the agency and its customers has also been incorporated into the design.
Status: scheme has recently received Planning Approval.
